Well done Greg Mackie.

I find the results at the DLRA website somewhat confusing. The class in which the '56 competed (H/PRO), there is an entry for Don Kendall at 159 MPH, apparently not good enough for the record. No records are shown for the Muller/Mackie cars; are these not recognised by the DLRA?

Yours confoundedly,

Thanks Peter (well done for the 75.1 MPH, or the roll-over? HA HA.)

If you're confused, how do you think Steve Muller and I feel? All we know is that Steve clocked 127.370 in the Karmann Ghia, and I squeezed 75.1 out of Steeve's stock '56 36hp Oval (record - 73.492). That is fact!

It was a great experience, however, and I hope to do the 'Salt' again next year with Steve and his team.

Cheers, Greg
