wheel conversion

hi guys
i have a 11/73 standard beetle that i what to fit a set of intro twisted vistas under 18''x7'' in front 19''x8'' in back i would like some advice on what rim offset, tyre size and how much i will need to narrow the front beam, i want to keep the standard guards if possible. i would like to bring it down 3'' from standard ride height, is it possible to do while keeping a half decent turning circle. i am in the process of purchasing a disc brake conversion with drop spindles. thanks heaps for your help i hope i have provided enough information if not please let me know.
thanks guys

It depends a lot if you want to register this in NSW as the RTA has regulations regarding wheel width to vehicle weight etc, check this with an RTA certified engineer before doing the work to save yourself a lot of grief.Possibly even more grief if the new regulations come into effect.
