Make metal tarnish or rust?
I have this metal badge not sure of what its made out of but i cant get it to rust or tarnish.
I have tried white vinigar and balsamic vinigar with no luck.
Any other ideas?

easy done... i can show u a photo of the results if u like...
pool store, $10.50 for 5 ltrs of hydrochloric acid. Mix 50/50 with water safetly,
leave in there, take out, and leave it in the atmostphere outside for a couple days.
Only works for steel i have noticed. if its aluminium or alloy, then it won't work.

A very old trick to make new metal objects look very old is to bury them in a pit in the ground and to piss in the pit for months.
It's used in Asia and the Middle East to make new brass and bronze statuettes look like they are centuries or millenia old, so that they can fool
unsuspecting tourists into believing that they are geniuine antiques.
