Now here's one tuff beetle with 8 inches chopped out of the centre of the body!! by its owner Tony Hill of FibreFab fame here in Geelong, Tony has been doing all the customizing over the past few years and this beast should be ready soon. The corvair motor is a turbocharged 180HP unit that Tony & I put together a while back, its bolted up to a tricked up type one tranny that has been reversed to suit the rotation of the vair motor. The bloke standing along side the car is John and his trike will shortly be corvair powered too but hey it might need a wheelie bar!! This beetle is sooooo Lowwww. Coming to a VW show near you soon !!!! cheers Frank. Oh can you picture one of these beasts in your kombi van?? No Damn radiator to worry about.
