Clutch

OK, I'm putting an EJ22 into my Kombi. I'm using a 200mm clutch. Do I use a standard Beetle Clutch or do I get a better quality one ? I plan on towing a trailer a lot.

You might get away with a stock disc but theres no way a stock pressure plate will last in kombi especially one towing a trailer

i had a brand new stock sachs clutch on my 1776 and it was fine till i started adding boost.
Only took 6psi to start making it slip and thats only in a 840kg bug
There was a kennedy stage1 famine on so I ended up replacing it with a Exedy sportstuff stage1 HD which is now on my EJ22 and its happily taken the abuse I;ve thrown at it
