ej22 very rough idle?????

Hey all. Have been having a few issues with my ej22 in my Caravelle. It runs fine when driving but when idling it runs really rough and smells of petrol fumes...... Any thoughts.

check that the rubber vacuum hoses from the fuel pressure regulator to the hardlines and manifold are connected properly and not perished

if you dont have a flipped manifold its at the left towards the front of the car

How long have you had the convo for?
Peeps on here would appreciate a bit more info,. You know what you've got, we don't :)

Is it a rough idle from start?

Your post is worded like it isn't. I'd like clarification.

If it is from start, have you got the cold start lead connected from the starter solenoid?
Haha, a fatal error by some UK company claiming to be a "Subaru Conversion Specialist"

Sorry I digressed.
If it gets hot then buggers up, have you tried a new temp sensor? Scooby one to the ECU, normally 2 pin and brown - not the single "Temperature Gauge" one

If not & what Joel's said doesn't work.... I've not got a scoobie, please post your findings
