Steady lads, steady!

This is the best Kweensland side Ive ever seen. And Ive been watching SOO since it began. Kweensland beat us by 4 points in game 1 this year. Kweensland should have won by a lot more. Game 2 they showed what potential they do have. Game 3 we lost by a try and a field goal. Gallen puts it down, Morris catches and scores another couple where we went close and we would have won last night. With a bunch of blokes who dont have anywhere near as much SOO games under their belt as the Kweensland blokes do. NSW showed heaps of character last night and I remind you again, against the best Kweensland side ever. We got lots to cheer about. Just remember. We still live in Gods country.

Congrats to all Kweensland supporters, and to all the Blues guys, keep the faith.!!:ninja:

yeah but - yeah but

These guys are "suppose" to be the cream

We cant kick the ball out on a penalty yet we can on a kick off

They are such simple mistakes that just should not happen in supposedly "the elite" level

Full kudos to the 'toads
But a brick bat to the roaches

A REAL lot of sole searching to be done by the selectors......................... or more by the selectors of the selectors

I dont think its too much of the players fault, as how many different combinations has there been to beat the QLDs, all to there one team with few changes each year. NSW selectors must be able to see this, pick a side that gets close to QLD then stick with it. Let the team gel a bit, not change evrything and hope for a miricle.

"I dont think its too much of the players fault"

I disagree - simple mistakes let us down in the 2nd game.
Couldnt catch, couldnt kick

This time was better - but when they make simple errors

Actually you are correct there, didnt even think about that bit, it just annoys me that players get one shot at this and because the selectors havent got a common group of gelled players to use in and out the younger players who get a shot at it have a near impossible task. Qlds 9,6,7,1 have been the same for 5 years, they have one for 5 years now. Nsw have changed each game almost.

if NSW had billy slater we would walk it in. his try saving efforts in every SOO are unbelievable. Must be 12 points a game he saves for them, and scores about the same.

Slater is in my eyes a w*****, he thinks he is king s***. Ever since the grand final last year when him and hayne came together had was always doing something as he has been ever since, but because he is billy slater and australias full back he seems to get away with alot more than the rest of the players, like the incident with the headbut and elbowing against hayne. If any other player led with an elbow that obviously then they would suffer alot of criticizm, but because its slater he didnt???? Whats with that.

all i can say is after five series wins, that takes nothing but talent. Billy slater is a freak player and jarrod hayne needs someone to bust his big head, as the highest paid player for parramatta as well and i dont think he has had a good game this year. Last night was a much better game and i think and nsw selectors need to take a good look at the why qlds selectors do it.. just might help the poor blues win a game

If you remember why SoO was invented, you will understand why the prophecy is now coming true. Mcalliffe said "Give us our QLD boys and we will kick your Arse" Welcome to 2010 = 5 in a row and 3-0 whitewash. On a quiet night you can still hear Mcallife laughing when they agreed to his suggestion. My2c
