Weird wheel

I spotted this wheel on the front of a house when I was going for a walk the other day.I've never seen one like this before ,it has the wide five stud pattern so it must be off some sort of early vw.
Does anyone know what it's off?

A friend of mine once had a Ford Prefect, and his brother had a Beetle. They once swapped wheels for a weekend!

I have a set similar to that on a very old cement mixer. Its not vw and the pattern is slightly smaller like 180mm? or something like that.

Yep, thats what I thought, slightly smaller PCD. Don't fit VW quite right.

48-215 Holden (FX) is 6 3/8" pcd.

Those prefect anglia wheels are " 203.2mm, not 205mm.

203.2 is not really 205....I know Jerry with the Kubel ran the Ford Prefect 16" wheels for a while, making them 'fit' with the aid of a file. Until the real VW rims eventually were sourced.

I think I posted a similar pic about 5 years or more ago being used for exactly the same purpose. I had no idea back then either. And then another more recently which I belive must be the holden. Doesnt have any holes on the outer.
