Hi
I always suggest to people to replace the dangerous solid steering shaft with a later collapsable one... from a 1968>
I also like the collapsable steering wheel...
cheers

If You wear a seatbelt the collapsible steering shaft should be
enough...
the large black VW steering wheel is the only one I know that is made to collapse..
cheers
LEE
