Dash Pad for 76 Beetle
Can anyone tell me if it is still possible to source a new padded dash pad for a 76 standard beetle? And if so where I can get one.....for a RHD car
of course.
Cheers

many were discarded as they liked the painted dash.... lol
and getting a RHD NOS one would be VERY difficult...
would be easier to make Your car LHD..lol
LEE
PS: I padded two dashes on My 59 & 62 beetles in the late 60s just using normal good quality vinyl..
One was black, the other was white....
Maybe I should do that again....
hardest parts were the corners on the glovebox...
but You can stretch the vinyl etc with heat....
LEE
PPS: I don't have any pics of them... lol

These are now available new for RHD - though it may take a little time yet for these to filter through to shops here. Price should be good too.

I don't believe that of any shops would have stock of these yet, but I do know that production has started by at least one company recently, which is
good news for those of us with cracked dash pads.
