NSW mobile speed camera locations

Hi

I know a good way to ruin the NSW governments plan to rip more money out of our pockets, don't get caught speeding by these cameras.

The locations from the RTA site http://www.rta.nsw.gov.au/roadsafety/downloads/mobile_speed_camera_locations_...

Wouldn't rely on this too much! They are mobile and after looking at the locations, I don't see Richmond, NSW listed and yet there was one here somewhere yesterday (Tues).

The only ones you can guarantee being reliable for the location are the fixed ones and you'd have to be plain dumb ass stupid to get your pic taken at one of those with all the warnings before them.

If you can't drive to the speed limit, get one of the IGO MyWAY satnavs of fleabay! You don't have to watch the speedo as the overspeed goes off at 1km over and it tells you so! Most roads on the map have the correct speeds unless they have been changed in the last year or so. Also the school zone waning noise is plain aggravating !! Other than that, the bloody thing would get you lost if you didn't have some idea of where you are going in Sydney.

I much prefer Tom Tom or Mio or one of the better brands but the Igo is there for emergencies in one car.

Lads, get a decent phone and install trapster, all users enter in locations of various items (rbt, mobile speed, red light) , uses the gps in your device to etc, use it heaps and works well ..... iPhone version is not the best due to the crappy operating system, go with an android device... like they say just don't speed nd your cool, this just gives you a heads up ;)

Seems everyone has got a real good case of speed camera phobia, I have received at least 5 emails giving locations for these damned things, what do the senders expect, that I will commit the locations and times to memory and watch my speedo every km in case one is in my intended travel route, I think I'll just do what I have been doing for the last 20 years (that's just after I lost my licence for the third time) I'll just do the best I can to stick reasonably within the limits and take my chances.
Looking at the list on the last email I received shows the list is compiled from statistics from 2006 - 2008, 209 stats not yet available, one location shown on the list is Anna Bay on Nelson Bay Rd. thats a bloody long road tpo keep your eyes on the speedo incase one of these damned things jumps out and attacks me, and I assume many of the roads on the list would have been changed / upgraded since 2008, I'm sticking to my original plan, driving within the law is still more fun than not driving at all.

I dream of a day when a chicken can cross a road without being asked for it's motive!
