Type Three bumper repair / rechrome

Hi Guys,

I have a 1970 Fastback that I am slooowly working one. I have dented and tarnished front and rear bars that I want to have repaired and rechromed. Can anyone suggest anyone that has done Type Three rather than Type One? I am in northern Sydney.

Thanks,

Jed

no one (AFAIK) does in in Sydney
They all send them away to a place in Albury

There is a hot rod shop up in Coffs Harbour Johnny Walker, and another Newcastle way called Hamilton Chrome that does them - google is your friend

You can buy new ones I think??

Hamilton chrome are the guys in Newcastle...

not much difference in what bumpers are chromed...

just remember that they need to be perfect to be rechromed and still look good...

You can also paint them... a cheaper alternative...
which can be chromed at any later stage...

cheers

Lee

Thanks for these two suggestions. Any suggestions for getting the bars perfectly repaired before chroming?
