I rekno that would look pretty sick, it would be very different. Keep us posted on it, pics for sure.

Its mounting would be a little lower if on the guard as opposed to the rolla, but should be fine.

What stud pattern u going?

If u haven't looked into it yet... 5x100 is a win. 17inch scoobi rims are cheap as.... (inc's. impreza, liberty, forester etc), and celica's (but thats a little oldskool) :)

Depends what u had in mind of course.

Yeah im not sure yet, i did buy ims a while back but sold them notlong ago fro cash.

But i got a mate who works for toyota so might go the toyota stud patter as he gets cheap stock rimss for skids

On my yellow car I used stock mirror stalks and bolted the mirrors to the stalk.

I've got them on my JDM Corona because that's teh way it was built. But not sure I'd like the look on a Beetle???

Yeah i was hoping to get a set to play with as im also in the market for an old corolla which if they dont work or look good on the bug theyd go on the rolla, but looking today in my local macas driveway there isnt really anywere they could be mounted and look good, will look into it
