Excellent job colour looks great,just wondering what is the blinker holes on the front guards,they look very close to the headlight bucket,are you doing something different ???

thanks everyone :) ofcourse i didnt just do all of it myself, i have to thank dad for everything hes done. he always keeps the ball rolling when it gets hard.
i was so impressed with the job the body shop did, it was a personal experience aswell.

Pumba: thanks mate, in the name of safety i have to some sortoff indicator, the PO had these holes already there so i am going to use them. i know they are a little to the front but it doesnt bother me as its something different

okay so i havnt documented much lately as its been full on for the past month or two, i have recently completed my second last year of secondary college and finnished exams.. thank god they are over!
so there was a rush to get it ready for the perh dovw 2012, it ended up being partially ready but was still an awesome experience to show all our work off :D

thanks everyone :) its so great to finally get here with only a small way to go now, ive actually decided to change the game plan with the car. at first i really wanted something loud, fast and scary but the past few months has made me realise what volkswagens are really about.. Cruising and the crowd you get amongst..

so any plans for a huge fire breathing engine have been scrapped, and im now turning my attention to getting rid of them damn solid mounts i thought was a good idea aswell as adding sound deadening and a nice interior.

ive uploaded a few photos of what it is now on facebook and everyone loves the thing, whether they think its cool or cute it doesnt bother me aslong as they like the thing!
so this is the new plan with the car, a cool cruiser so i can hit the beaches up at summer and take things cruisy :tu:

Go young fella my son is 15 and has been interested in VWs as we are restoring a 54 beetle and a 61 dual cab he thinks he will be driving them when he gets his license not sure about that might get him him started on a 70s beetle
