Let me know if you are going to take the surround from Splitmeister....
he is 5 minutes from my place and I have a cover that I can sell you and combine the freight with his surround....

have an idea to make it more split friendly....munty
use a rear hatch window area
I have 2 avail you can decide if u use glass size plus insert ie marine ply.. rubber needs renewal for good seal
or use larger area of door....it's free
glass $30 intact
use piano hinge $5, i hve
want any vw bits old but like me, Made in Germany!!!
