Dash Doctors in Victoria
Hi All,
Can anybody post photos of a repaired dash from this company? I have a 1970, so would like to see a dash with the correct hole pattern, rather than
just covered over.

Better jog this on on a bit! Likewise in the next few months hopefully I'll want one re skinned. I know that the vinyl hasn't got the same
pimples on it as original but generally looks better than a cracked one. As for the speaker holes, some of them have a jig for something near the
shape but they drill rather large holes in it. The one I have is a converted 60s sometime to a wraparound imported one. I'll be getting it done
without the speaker holes so I can put them in myself. I'll have a jig for drilling the holes. Haven't made it yet but maybe soon, well in the
near future!!
Added a couple of pics. Has your one got the centre bar in the grill?

I had my L Bug dash re-done by Dashboard restorations in Brisbane. I had customised the guage area first, but the rest of it is standard. This was
about 5 years ago, and I have been VERY happy with it - see photos.

What was the cost like Jeff? The last one (and not very good!) was done in Sydney over Bankstown way around 2001. It was around $250 then. Think
or hope they are out of business now!

It was expensive-ish. I can't remember how much now. I could possibly look it up next time I am back at home.
I guess they are right when they say the cost will be forgotten long before the quality.

Hi Guys,
I spoke with the place in Brisbane. They told me that they are concentrating on left to right conversions, so are not doing resto work at the moment.
My dash from memory had the speaker grill with the dividing line. It looks like the black one in the photos above. I had a bodged job done on it many
years agon in Sydney. I think that this company has gone out of business.
I have a late model dash as a donor, with the plastic centre grill. Can I get this rebuilt to look like the correct thing?
