[FS - VIC] 70 Square + Pan

Hey Guys,

So heres the deal, just recently bought yet another type 3, its already rego'd and rwc so dont really have much need for my other ones at the moment.

Also, have my 70 Squareback. This thing does have rust. Rust in the pan, both front guards, both front inner guards. Probably a few other places too. Engine is a bit rough and the gearbox pops out of reverse. Brakes are pretty much non existent. Just need to be bled and adjusted. The square has been completely stripped inside. Will come with all parts. Dash pad was no good, windscreen is cracked, has pop outs. The square body has some pretty nice rat potential and would love to finish it one day.

Car is located in Werribee, Victoria, 3030.

I am in no rush what so ever to get rid of this so i will not be giving it away for free (as much as some of you may think thats all a fatty's worth) I am re-surfacing my back shed and thats where this will be going, i am happy to hold on to it as like i have previously said i wouldnt mind one day finishing the square. However, i wouldnt mind some spare cash at the moment either.

Here are the pics:
Square: http://s947.photobucket.com/albums/ad312/05bjp90/Forum/?start=0

Square - with interior (door cards, seats, NO carpet) $800
- without interior (body, panels, engine, glass, etc) $500
Put a bucket on the floor and i still drive it around.
COD

I think thats everything.
Please keep any stupid comments to yourselves.

Cheers,
Ben

Hey Ben.

Did that fasty have a towbar? Btw I gots me 2 NOS inner guards :starhit: as well as NOS door sills and one NOS spare wheel carrier panel.
Just need a good apron and I got 90% of the rust sorted out on my notch

I cut the rest of that shell up and got it on ebay. Already sold the "a" pillar sections at the front.

Vlad.

hey Vlad,
No luck on the tow bar, sorry mate.
Good work on the NOS stuff, hopefully you'll have the car back out on the road soon then!
Glad to see people are making use of the shell still and it didnt all go to waste.
Cheers

soon? lol yeah 10 years maybe depends on how much money I can save.

About the towbar. I was just asking whether it had one, not that I wanted one

Just have come to a conclusion on some engine bay damage in that fasty shell that I recon was caused by towing.

Yes not all of it went to waste. Most of it is on ebay and the rear wheel arch sections are a life saver. I don't think I would of got those bits any other way besides buying another car.
I am also in the process of restoring one ok condition box/reinforcement from the inner guard that came from that shell. The NOS guards obviously don't come with them.

Cheers.
