Brake Line leaking

The brake line that runs along the tunnel in my beetle has sprung a leak,do i go to a brake workshop
and have a new one made?
I am not sure how they will get it right as i bent it out of shape a bit getting it out.

vintage vee dub sell em new and can send them out but yes a brake shop can make you one

Make sure you get new grommets where it passes through the body

Has to be bent as it is installed, not too hard...bit of patience and few hours

Drop it around tomorrow Athol and I'll go to Hitech for you on Monday. They should have the gear for the bubble flare. Far cheaper than driving to Sydney for it.

I'll be out most of the day but just drop it over the gate. Ralph won't eat it!

Would be about right Graig. I've got Athol one made up locally for 30 bucks so he's right to go with that part. The actual bundy tube is around $7 per metre plus their time to put the flares on. Makes it worthwhile to get the flaring mandrels for the ISO flare if doing the whole car. If we had to drive from out here to Rydalmere or further there's the time plus petrol added to the cost.
