Shipping advice needed
I need to ship some body panels from Brisbane to Germany and was wondering if anyone can help.
Can I just make up a timber crate and pack them in to that or are there quarantine issues with using timber?
It is going sea freight so who would be the best to use for that?
Are there any export costs involved?
I will be getting back some other panels in exchange for these so does that create a paperwork trail I will need to use to bring in the other
panels?

'proper' timber might be a problem, but we shipped out some fragile mirrors from the UK and used MDF and they went through fine as its a man made
product.

We ship to china, and the pallets needs to have a stamp on it. Can't remember if it just for china?

I seem to recall the timber needed to be treated in a particular way but just don't remember what way. Anyone out there is the shipping industry
that can help?

We pack jobs for export on behalf of clients. Go to any reputable timber yard that make crates/pallets and specify that the timber must be suitable
for ocean freight. They will know what to do.
