Comboyne

Took a run up to Comboyne yesterday (yes the little wench made it there and back thankyou) prety close to 2 hours 45 min each way keeping within the speed limits most of the time, found out, by design, that once the fuel gauge hits empty I still have 59.9 km in the tank at highway speed, that gave me close enough to 410 km out of the tank, reckon if I get the tune a bit better I can stretch that out to 412, I had a very pleasant day with Jeff, Matt, Dylan and another young bloke whos name I cant recall (craft disease). I went more to test out the new (ish) motor and it was well worth it, heaps of nice vehicles on show and a nice village fair atmosphere, couple of good bands playing in the street and a few buskers, one of them surprisingly good! the radio controlled cars opened my eyes a bit compared to the ones I used to run, and the price for them reflects the technology  Thanks Jeff, that bug of yours has a real nice note, pitty I couldn't keep up with you so I could listen longer.

For those confused by the last pic, that was the signage to tell people where the toilets were.

There were heaps of them strategically placed all over town and all with a different native flower arrangement in them.

It was a great day.

Regards,

Matt.

Sorry about that Donn - I didn't realise you were trying to keep with me. We built a house up there 2 or 3 years ago, so I know that mountain road damn well - it is good fun (untill you catch up to all the pouncy show cars).

From your ole' mate Jeff
