Hello All, I am looking at a beetle that is forsale locally. It has an engine number of AD329903 can someone tell me what size it is.I have looked but cant find anything to tell the size. The owner says it is a 1500 and the car was built in Germany. Any help would be great. Thanks Gary

that would be a late 72/early 73 1600 superbug motor.

I'd be highly surprised if its a german import unless it was a semi automatic

the only late model beetles that were fully imported were semi automatics and a few personal imports
