Type 3 1600 longblock- Adelaide

Name: Matt
Location: Adelaide 5050

I bought a 71 square to wreck and have got rid of most things but still have the 1600 engine. When I bought the car the guy tried to tell me it was an 1800. I have not pulled the heads off to check but he wasn't a VW person so I'm going to assume it's a stock 1600. I only drove it about 45km to get it home but it didn't skip a beat and pulled up the hills really well. Because I have not driven it I am prepared to guarantee the engine for one month! Thats enough time for someone to transfer all their parts on and get it running and check it over, if you are not happy with it you can return it and I will give you YOUR MONEY BACK.

PRICE: $450 ono
This is a LONG BLOCK ONLY, everything from sump to heads. This does not include;
-Carbs/manifolds/linkage/air filter
-Distributor
-Alternator
-Tinware
-Fuel pump

please either PM me or call me on 0411103556. I am going to REvolks so can deliver to Lorne next weekend if that helps anyone. Cheers.

Matt

Yeah she can go faster, but if she did you wouldn't see how good she looks.

This is still for sale if anyone is interested. I am now looking for a couple of upright 1600's so a trade could be negotiated if that is better for you.
