me and the famous guy

hi all my names heath i own a 1973 squareback that im doing up for show car purposes to make vw's cool among the younger generation. sick of seeing them all in jap cars and commonwhores. anyway i also live with tony Thornton he owns ANDRA and at one stage owned the fastest VW in Australia. some may no him from his accident which you can have a sus of on youtube, hell of a way to destroy a beetle. or cos he is a pretty prominent member in the VW & Motorsport scene in Adelaide. currently living at my house we have his kombie my 73 and in the photo is the variant we used to own but regretfully had to sell. lol sorry i wrote a bit of a novel just giving you the history. cheers guys.

hey yeah tony was pretty messed up we nearly lost him broke both legs arms all his ribs and his neck. he was lucky to be able to ever walk again. but still as enthusiastic as ever and ironically enough he is leading the charge for SA drag strip. im not sure what the name of the colour of the variant was i think factory but its now yellow and used by a guy named Joe as a wedding car. thanks for the warm reception.
