lambda sensor location

Hi folks
ive now got my EJ20 splitty MOT'd and running but now i keep getting fault 32 showing up when i go above 30 mph i suspect it could be the design of the exhaust and location of the lambda sensor ive spoken to rich at rjes and they are usually located in the pipework and as my box has no internal pipes just in an out pipes the hydro carbons have this space in the box to build up before they can exit out and possibly this amount is to high for the sensor at faster speeds and triggering a fault im no expert and this is just a theory does any one now if it could be correct before i move the sensor to a new location? please have a look at the pic's and let me know what you think

It could be a faulty part ??
or you will have to move it back to where they are normally fittrd , to see if that corrects the fault.
cause it needs the exhaust gases to flow in it.

Thanks for the reply
this is the second sensor i have fitted and it is new so it should be ok, i think it will be have to moved but if i move it back (out of the box) it will only read the gasses from one side of the engine as the only point that both sides of the manifold meet is the box
any suggestions welcome
cheers phil

Hi yes i think that may be the solution the sensor has to reach 300 degrees to work properly and may be it isnt getting hot enough were it is ?
cheers phil
