WTB Carburetor for 1974 L-bug


Heya all,
Gots a 1974 L-bug with a 1600 twin port motor which needs its carburetor replaced. Anyone have one lying around?
I live in Brisbane but I will pay for postage if you are far away..

iv got a single weber here off a 74 L bug not sure if it works or not ... I assume it does. let me know .

karstan no vw came with a webber as stock. what he is after is a solex 34pict 3 or 4 for it.
burgo if you dont find one try pming grumble as he had a box of carb bodies in his workshop.

good point but if he was asking for an aftermarket one he would of asked for the manifold as well

Burgo I have New 34 pic on my beetle 1day


Burgo give us a call,mick 0402492667,Carb on my beetle 1day,I only needed it to work out what was wrong with my original carb,tried franticlly to work out problem and get me to Warick Drags,give us a bell any time not after original price just need cash for next project.ps my problem was only smallrubberring on carb needle perished,cheers mick. Have proof of purchase.m,motors can send.
