Looks like the Chev came out the winner, at least no broken glass anyway. so much for the Hummer!

Being stupid.....

Can you imagine the momentum of that beast??
How many tons are they. Have to be close to 3? or 4X a beetle.

The Chev wouldnt be that much less.

I think the crumple of the Hummer wins hands down.

Can you imaging the jolt in the Chev seeing as the energy wasnt absorbed???

The jolt in the Chev would have been no different whatsoever.
When two vehicles of roughly the same size & weight collide the inertia on both is the same. If one disintergrates it absorbs all the impact for both cars.

So it is just a question of who comes off 2nd best..........:cool:

But my favourite crash pictures are of a staged test btween a wolwo (the worlds safest car) & a T3 kombi (a car they've called unsafe since the 50's).
As the wolwo's crumple zone gives the kombi climbs the bonnet & comes thru the windscreen.
