Good US company to deal for Porsche bits

Hi

I've been buying the odd Porsche part from Pelican Parts in the US. I recently placed an order with them.

They sent me an email to advise me that they had overcharged for postage and credited my Pay Pal $19.37 account, its good to have this sort of service when dealing with an overseas company.

Steve, German Auto Dismantlers in Georgia are very helpful with second hand parts. I got some cheap 944T calipers from them, no problem with shipping USPS as well.

Pelican are awesome. German Porsche in Georgia are good too I've met the guy who owns it let me tell you now a real deliverance type hillbilly. I nicknamed him buffalo bill, Jake raby lost it laughing when I called him that too.

This is my Volkswagen, there are many like it, but this one is mine. Without me my Volkswagen is useless, without my Volkswagen, I am useless.

Stoddards is the Standards that ALL of the others measure themselves against.

http://www.stoddard.com/shop/shopdisplaycategories.asp?id=23&cat=356+Parts

Separate Catalogs for each Marque.

The Stoddards Catalog is like a reference manual.

I've been using them since 1976 - at one stage they were bought out by Porsche and renamed as Porsche Special Products.

Their prices are reasonable and the service solid.

ALSO:
The US 356 Registry Vendors page is a good starting point:

http://www.porsche356registry.org/resources/356-vendor-links.html

There are some problem Vendors out there but is problematic naming them on a public forum. I guess that you can expect that if they are recommended by the 356 Registry then, they haven't had reason to give them the flick.
