My First VW - 71 Square
Put the deposit down for my first VW, a couple of weeks ago. Its a 71 Square with a Type 4 1800 engine (recently re-built).
Car was completely rebuilt about five years ago, and resprayed inside and out.
This is the car five years ago and the reason I wanted it.
When I first saw it! Quite a few chips, a little bit of surface rust, inside a bit grubby, but body great.
The guy I bought off agreed to respray for it for me, plus a few other things (he is a panel beater and a complete legend in my books)
After re-spray - should be able to pick it up in a couple of weeks - very excited.

Yeh its Gazza - thought a few people on here would know him - figured he knew what he was doing restoring VW's! Think I owe him some more wisky!
Hope he doesn't mind me posting but too excited, I show the photos to the wife and she doesn't care.
