Wanted type 3 rear end
looking for a type 3 rear suspension / rear end bit. Not sure the exact terminology but the whole bit that unbolts from the pan, I have a type one if
anyone wants to swap or give me a price for your type 3, would need to be reasonably close to Newcastle or an inexpensive way to get it here. Maybe do
a swap for other parts that you may want from an L Bug.
Thanks
Don

Don, you will need an IRS rear end - it needs the stub axles, bearings, drums etc. so it can 'self support'.

Thats what I thinking. I have a 95% complete irs type 3 end and want to swap or buy a swing axle end so I can have frame horns to work with.

Don, It looks like I will be starting in Orange in another week or so, and even though I will be back and forward quite a bit, the trailer will
probably stay there unitil I finish the job (probably February).
If you want to get photos, we may need to do it before it goes.
