Engines Stuttering at full throtle..?

hey guys

i need some help with my engine.

When the car is in idle or quarter throttle it sounds great, its a different story when i ask for some 2L power at 3/4 or full throttle. when i do full throttle it chokes and stutters like its gasping for air, fuel or spark(My guess).

i have noticed that the lead from the coil to the dissy would spark me when my hand ventured in the area. i swapped the lead out and put in an old one and it continued to do so(maybe two sh!t leads or could it be time for a new dissy). i have no idea if this could be a direct problem or not..?

also when i bought the bug, it had not had a fuel filter installed, Idiots! i fixed that prob asap.

i thought it might have too much back pressure from the Empi muffler so removed the quiet pack and it has more grunt but still stutters at mid to high revs...

im lost...

any help is appreciated and any other possibilities are greatly accepted.

Cheers Kosa

Your ignition is breaking down under load.

Check leads, coil, condenser, dizzy cap and rotor button.

oh and plugs too lol
