Bit of advice/ direction


Found out yesterday that the crackshaft in bug has splitt in half so new or rebuild is in order

not having the cash for this im thinking either

-shed it and in a couple of years i may have saved enough

-sell get some small amount back

Definitely don't sell it broken, you won't get what it's worth. Buy a used running engine and sling it in. Used engines in good condition should cost between $500-$1000, so not too expensive really.

can you pull it to pieces and just put a new crank in??

If you stip iy down to pieces and get it back as a long block ??
Would cost about the same as a 2nd hand donk??

Obviously depends what the rest of the motor is like

man that sucks
first step get it back to your shed
keep it for a few more years and save for a nice donk
or
find a good sh donk or we find another crank for ya
