What model bug?

Link pin beam or ball joint?

What bolt pattern do you want/have?

Depending on the above there are different ways to go.

Cheers

Looking at your older posts you've got a pre 68 bug,

most likely link pin beam and drum brakes.

if you wanted to keep the wide 5 pattern, talk to vintage vee dub who do the best wide 5 kit; all aussie made ask VW54 how it goes.

If you wanted to change to 4 stud beetle or porsche, you can fit an adaptor so you can run "twin pin" type 3 style calipers with beetle discs (hellbugged can help if need be or VWCOOL).

I've looked into alot of disc brakes for my bug (67 1300) and talked to a few people; i've never been unhappy with my drum brakes (VW only - no cheap repro!) and have decided to stick with them; just going to replace all the internals and add a dual circuit system.

But if you talk to some shops and people on here your bound to find something your looking for!

If your just after a pretty normal disc set-up for the street, then any VW shop can help you out with that.

If your after really good brakes (ie Slotted discs) then search Big brakes and VWCOOL as the author.

If your after "glue your face to the windscreen" stopping power then go for VWCOOL's vented fronts and slotted rears....

If you want VWCOOL you'll have to try the numbers at the top of the second thread that Shaun linked to. Looking at his profile Glenn hasn't been on here since mid September.
