Yeah, cool - I'm pretty hard to miss, what with being the only Volksy running.
Shaun - yeah Jezzi's running all right now I think, but a bit hard to be sure since the issue only seems to show up on the track !!!
I have the logging set up in the ECU now incl fuel pressure, so at least if I do get any more little gremlins creeping in I should have a better
chance of catching them...

Well hopefully nothing now !!!
It's really just been a series of niggly little things:
- first it was a dead alternator (not charging at all)
- then an EFI pump that was putting out pressure just fine, but nowhere near its rated volume
- third was an issue with the organic component (not enough fuel in the tank)
- and finally didn't have the fuel pressure reg set right... alternator would cut in, more volts meant pump would spin faster, fuel pressure would
go up and she'd run rich
Ahh the joys of playing race cars !!!

Yes and yes... looks like your switch is dead also !!! Power into the switch, but nothing out on any of it's terminals no matter what the switch
position.
Got a new switch to try in her tonite, so we'll see I guess.
If that's not it, well a good treating with Rainex will have to do...

yeah,,, most people did,,, some didn`t ,,, some just went home,,,, & some that did run went round & round :-)
i think i ended up 6th outright... only had 3 wet runs on the sat,,, got a 46.1
didn`t bother running today, it was "Pi&&ing down for most of this morning so i just loaded the car up onto the back of the kombi & was
going to just go home, but it started clearing (somewhat) so i hung around & "Almost" took her off again thinking i might have another run,,,
but, Just as i thought that--> it P!&&ed again, so i pulled out of the top 6 shootout... i`m a lazy bugger sometimes,,, didn`t feel like
getting wet & going slower :-) so i just sat under my umbrella for the day :-)
met up with Sidey tho, good to meet you fella, glad you got the fuel problem sorted
i`ve worked out that 10" mini tyres are not much chop up there :-( need 13"`s at least (Maybe a hair drier too) :-)

This was my third run sat
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wYBpIyfskbA
the first was just Fully soaking wet, the 2nd was pretty damn messy
this one was just a cruize around to sort lines & gears,,, obviously 2nd gear isn`t the go,,, maybe plucking 3rd up near the top of each hill may
be better , but didn`t really get another chance to find out
but still,,, i`ll have another go next year :-)

Yikes Matty... that thing ain't half quick... I think it looks even quicker in person than on the vid to be honest !!!
Yeah Matt - I went and had a bit of a play in the wet, and annoyingly did a DNF on the only dry run of the weekend. After that used it as a test and
tune session sorting out things with the injection... pretty happy with the progress, managing a 56.4 something in the wet on Sunday even tho I was
Driving Miss Daisy.
So yeah... pretty productive weekend all up... bring on next year !!!

ah sweet thanks Sides,,, you should be in the thing :-) i wish i could see my car run from an outside the car video,,, if you know what i mean,,,
because all weekend i kept getting people telling me it looks quick but i know i`m no-where-near on the money with it yet... so i know there`s lots
more time to drop as the car is now without any changes (including my own lack of balls), one half wet run isn`t quite enough to judge it`s
"potential" pace yet,,, at least we`ve found a "sort-of" base for gearing & lines & feeling things out for a rythum of the track so i`m
happy that i got that 3rd run in for that reason at least
you don`t know anyone who may have some footage of it by any chance???
