Repairing bottom of compartment lids
Hi all
Not sure if i'm in the right place but i'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction. Just got myself a 62(3?) Beetle that has some rust
dammage to the bottom edge of the engine compartment lid and also (I think - not sure as it was an ebay buy and is standing in my dads drive awaiting
shipment to the NT), the front lid. These are the originals so i don't want to replace them and was wondering if there were repair panels available
for just the lower inch or so. Any ideas - suggestions!!
Whilst i am here - any recommendations for transport companies to truck a Beetle up to Darwin. I'm in no rush so would happily wait for a "space to
fill" if it means saving some folding stuff!!
