Lichen 1500 Bug project

So,..

Today being Sunday, and it's absolutely bucketing outside, what possibly can be better than sitting on here looking at all these cool vehicles.
and dreaming of getting my own project going.

We went on a little road trip a while ago with my trusty trailer 'Trevor' and came home with a new brother for 'Mary'.

This is the only photo at moment but I will be sure to post more as time goes by.

I think the plan will be to have a certain person (name withheld until I've spoken with them.) rebuild the motor for him, restore the pan, and leave the rest as is.

Does mean it is a 'rat'?

Very funny. ian.mezz

We have saved it from a certain death though.
It had already lost it's hat (engine lid) and an arm (right front guard.) but now it has a roof over it's head, for the first time in many years.

The plan is to restore it mechanically,.. and DRIVE IT!!!

Down the track we might be able to find the $ for some shiny paint, but in the mean time atleast we won't be scared of shopping centre car parks.

Have to have enough left to maintain the green bug too. Which looks very much like yours.

No chopping happening here. Not our thing.

I meant it now lives in a garage.
