WTB: complete late type 1 thermostat system.

After a complete type 1 thermostat system minus the thermostat itself. ie. linkages, rods, flaps and thermostat bracket.

Need these for a later to buy DTM shroud.

Location: Kyneton VIC, 3444

PM Vlad or post here.

wanting everything like in this ad, though the thermostat isn't crucial as I can buy NOS or rebuilt ones.

Typical samba classifed, selling something as working when really its farked.

Someone needs to start reproducing the flaps and linkage assemblies, theyre not complicated and there would be a market for them, theyre already doing the thermostats.

yes thats a good idea. Some cock head removed the one on my notch and the engine is totally rooted at only 70K. literally spews oil out the exhaust at the rate of 600mL per 100ks.

engine wear very very fast without them :(

I want one for the DTM as they don't come with them standard, otherwise the DTM will cost a lot more than the current 560 USD

yep. wth ducting running straight through the front part of the deck above the gear box directly to the intake of the cooler..
Obviously I can't just chuck the dtm on and expect it cool without any fresh air.

Pod, would love some pics :dork:
