wtb Torsion bars and covers
Hi
Am looking for some 26 9/16" (675mm or thereabout) rear torsion bars in 26mm.
If you have something close in thickness let me know.
The picture below is of the torsion bar cover that I already have that suits a dual spring plate setup. I need the one for a single spring plate (I
know I can grind the 'knobs' off but want these in case I revert to dual at any stage)
Also looking for a solid intermediate mount for a T1 gearbox
Thanks
Marcus

Unless I am wrong (and it is quite possible I am) the standard ones I have now are 22mm (I don't have calipers so it is an approx.), I am fairly
certain type 3 bars are 23.5mm or 24mm. I wanted to go just a little heavier but not too much. Sway away list this size in their products so I assume
it is available. Cip also sell this size in a bugpack product.
Yours are heavier than this Dave aren't they? Happy to hear input.

Yeah, sorry Marcus - I didn't ask my question very well hey !!!

I wasn't suggesting 26's wouldn't work but more just curious if you'd gotten some advice or a magic formula or something. I've got 28's which I
basically picked using same sort of logic as you... seem to work pretty well, but yeah - plenty of ways to skin a cat I guess.

I wish I could find a magic formula Dave.
It seemed that a number were using 28mm to 30mm and then a number of others using type 3.
I thought I would split the difference and start from there. It is a moderately researched guess at this point.
