Steering Wheel help...

hi guys,
Bought a new wheel for my bug the other day (1969 1500) and was not given a guarantee is was the right boss,
it was cheap so i bought it anyways and got home to find the that hole on the boss was to small for the spline....
I shopped around and tried to fine a another boss and found the universal saas ect that you buy at autobahn and such do not fit the steering wheel....
the steering wheel has no marking and i have no clue what brand it is, as with the boss.
any help in pointing me in the right direction with a boss, and what model my boss is for will be greatly appreciated!
thanks

I have drilled and tapped the boss to suit the PCD of the steering wheel before with no issues, the other boss that i have has two set's of holes that will either suit a momo or Autotechnica PCD

sounds like the boss is for a late model Super beetle or an early Golf...
Your beetle splines are very common....

cheers
