[FS - NSW] 1970 Beetle non-TURBO


1970 beetle

*rebuilt 1641 (by Andrew Dodd)
*1 5/8" Stainless steel header with stainless fatboy muffler
*Full respray
*Custom dash with glove box removed
*The dash is also fitted with three VDO guages: oil pressure, volts and clock - also an Autoguage Tacho )
*Scat dragfast shifter
*Adjustable front beam with suitable shocks for lowering
*Widened fibreglass guards on all corners
*Fibreglass whale tail
*Front and rear bumpers have been removed and smoothed over
*Custom front indicators
*Sports steering wheel
*The entire rear section of the car, rear quarter and front doors have been covered in Dynamat Extreme
( I will also include extra dynamat which should be able to cover the remainder of the floor ).
*After market seats (Sit low) which are set on custom brackets.
The seats have received a custom cloth retrim
*Front disc brakes
*Electric washer bottle
*One Peice Windows with Empi twin lift mechanism
*Billet window winders
*At time of respray all fender and door rubbers were replaced
*20% tint all round with a 5% screen strip
*Custom cloth roof lining
*Fiited with 50s style tank and side filler smoothed over
*CSD Polished Alloy wheels with 295s at the rear and 195s up front.
*Rego till April 2011 with personalised plates [BUG.70G]

This Car turns a lot of heads and has had a few photo requests.
Never thought I would sell but the time has come to let go.

Does the car come with bumper bars, it will not pass inspection in Queensland without them

I would say IRS judging by the rear wheel angles.
and its 70's bug.

Actually all 70s standard bugs like this one in aus were swing axle

only supers, 68-70 autos and 76 beetles were IRS

A swinger with rims that wide at that height wont show much neg camber
