MAYBE OUR PETROL WILL GET CHEAPER...???

although I read where petrol with Ethanol may get more expensive as the floods have wiped out crops used to make ethanol...

and NON Ethanol petrol won't be phased out for at least another Year....
bit hard if there isn't any ethanol... lol

Yes, but it's getting harder.

Given the growth in our economy and population, our manufacturing industry is smaller now than it was 50 years ago.

The scary thing is we're in the middle of a mining boom, and our industry is struggling to survive. What will happen when this boom cycle finishes,....which it will.

whilst buying off shore is good short term, long term all you do is prop the os economies up,whilst ours will go to the shit.People are still not spending money, dont believe what the goverment might say about a booming economy.Retail is still dead right now.Has been for 12 months or so.

Maybe they are spending, just that with the dollar so good over seas then it is being spent os, and with the dollar the way it is makes our exports more expensive, can't have it both ways.
