WTD BNE: Engine breast plate and gearbox cradle

Hi,

Since the weather is so great in Brisbane at the moment, I'm finding more time to work in the garage :S

Anyway, I need the following items for a standard bug as my parts are shagged:

An engine breast plate for a twin port. As in this picture: http://cbperformance.com/catalogimages/1960.jpg

And also a gearbox cradle, i.e. just the standard version of this picture (which is HD aftermarket I guess): http://www.racecar-engineering.com/imageBank/g/gearbox-mount.jpg

PM or post with price if you're able to help me out. I'd prefer to pickup in BNE if possible.

Thanks
Peter

Pudgy

There are early and late cradles
The one you picture is solid mount aftermarket

The pic below is early and generally preferred as they hold the box more solid.
The later the rubbers and bigger, softer and are not fixed to the frame.

Hi, thanks for the replies.

Just to clarify it is indeed just a standard "early" cradle I am after.

I am guessing Micks like most shops wont open until after NY.

Donn, I may take you up on yours if nothing shows up locally.
