Just Introducing me and Mrytle

Hi All,

I'm Kaz, originally from the UK now living in Western Sydney and having fun trying to restore Myrtle.

Myrtle is a 67 bug which i bought just over 2 years ago in Sydney. She came brush painted with Yellow house paint and served me well for a year or so. Then we decided to give her the best and restore her to original. At the moment her Chassis is complete and ready to go, just working on the body now. She's been stripped back to bare metal (by hand - will sandblast next time!) and is having a few repairs - heater channels done just repairing the rust spots.

We've collected a 65 bug along the way, originally for parts but I can't bring myself to butcher it. So probably a second project.

Nice to meet you all
Kaz and Myrtle x

Thanks guys.

Using a restorer is cheating! Although I reserve the right to change my mind when it comes to getting the panels straight!

xx
