If you don't want shocks then as narrow as you like, with shocks then you will need to measure what clearance you have currently, remember it will
affect other things too such as your turning circle, bumpsteer etc, how low are you looking to go?Do you need modified balljoints?.
The changes you make will affect ride quality,as you narrow the springs you effectively stiffen them, too narrow and you can feel every pebble

66brm - Think i need shocks couldnt imagine driving without them! Turning circle is not a problem, already have a lowered beam done about 20 years ago
and not happy with it. So intend to go for as narrow as possible with adjusters plus dropped spindles i have the lowered ball joints.
vw54 - 1 inch really isnt much.
Thanks

There are a few people running narrowed front ends without shock absorbers...
I tried it with My lowered front end and it was too rough as the roads around SCONE can be very rough..
even bumps on the highway can be BIG...
Why do You want to go so low???
and narrow...????
just for the look???

Was it narrowed as well or did you just take your shocks off a standard beam?
The springs become stiffer (less torsional twist ) as it becomes narrower.A standard beam will ride like shit without shocks.

its also illegal to run without shocks under the adrs.
also any suspension modification requires an engineers to be legal.
