What is this AND front suspension question
I have been cleaning up the chassis for a project that I am working on and came across a cable outer that I couldn't figure out what it was.
anyone have any ideas?

Also,
I want to clean the front torsion arms and replace the bushes, is it a matter of unbolting everything and then pulling it off? How do I realign it
after the bushes are replaced.

I agree with Daimo, the frame head appears bent??? Beam seems further rearward on the LH side ???
What bushes are you wishing to replace???? Torsion arm bushes (inside the beam), king pin bushes (inside the king pin carrier) or link pin bushes
???
As for alignment, it all will need resetting anyway as it appears to be getting some repairs so no doubt some new parts will go in.

That's what I thought too. Maybe it's a 'camera' thing?
Do a wheelbase check on each side. You may have to straighten that frame-head before you go any further.

Im hoping that it isnt bent. The bulk head hasnt been hit but the side you can see cracked (top right) was hit and I have to bend out.

Yes choke cable as that is an early chassis
no steering damper...
I would be measuring from the rear of torsion bar tube to the bolt holes in the chassis near the floor...
it looks really bent from the pic....

If you PM your email address, I'll tell you how to fix it.
