Max Rob Steering Wheel

I have a wooden Max Rob wheel about 14" diameter in good order with Wolfsburg horn button. Can this be fitted to my 65 splittie? Is it too small for leverage??

if you can get the correct boss kit any wheel will fit. Would be worried about timber cracking due to force of heavy kombi compared to sedan. Wheel is probably 30yrs old. so fatigue may be a factor.

Customer service is not dead in Australia.

Always after HAZET & MATRA & VW factory tools

Timber splitting due to the weight of the Kombi?! What rubbish!

If you can find (or make) a boss kit which matches your car then you can bolt it on just fine.
