My first car was my EH Holden sedan, and I still have it
My wifes first car was a 1975 VW bus, and she still has it.
our daily driver is now a 1971 Beetle, but other daily drivers along the way have included our original two.

Geez, I thought I was bad but some people out there going through some car sales. In 23 years of driving Im up to 27 cars bought and sold. Happy to
say that the longest I have kept a car is my current 71 fastback which I have had for 6-7 years and its going to be buried with me
Just about to get 75 HJ ute on the road and say its a keeper as well.
Once the current CX-7 is sold, time for a Mk5 GT Golf, car number 28!

When the total came to more than 80 - including 18 Beetles, and 4 Transporters - over the past 54 years, I wish that I had not done the exercise.
I'd rather wear a Beetle out by racing it than by polishing it!
