[WTB - NSW] Buying an engine

hey guys, I've currently got a 1996 Golf CL, however it's not firing one of the cylinders and after running a compression test one of the cylinders is running at only 25 psi and the car isn't wanting to start without hassles and idles very very low, so I'm looking at buying either a golf GL or GTi engine to fit it.

Under 180k on the clock,

Cheers !

ps. Sorry i'm new to the forum and not too sure how everything works :)

Cheers mate !

I've been told by a lot of people it's not worth putting a new engine in but no one's really gonna buy a 3 cylinder car, and if they do I won't get more than 1.5 .. if even that
