not sure
thinking of changing floorpans on my 56 oval is 1500 or 1600 floor pan fit??
Or keep original floor pan drop a 1600 engine in and run 1600 or 1500 front end what would be best suited??
If anyne can help me out here it would be much appreciated, as you can see im a little unsure on the mechanical side.
thanks cheers

your body will fit onto the later pan no problems you just have to shorten the rear body mount
might be worth talking to an engineer or the rta to see how it will affect your insurance?

It could be worth your time to do a search, as this topic has come up before (although I'm not sure about the years that were asked about).
I seem to recall something about some mounting holes having to be drilled to match the early pan/late body.
I did a quick search, with little success. You could try here or here, or be a bit more
creative/persistent with the search engine than I was.
