Oil leaks.


My little flowers 89 caravelle has a oil leak which is dotting the back window with oil spots, am thinking engine seal.What should i look for if i drop motor out.Any tips appreciated.

What about a good degrease and clean and then see if you can spot the leak.

If you pull the notor then I would do a quick reco, hone the bores, polish the crank, new bearings and rings

put Nulon (or any other brand) "stop Leak" in the oil................works a treat ;)

is it auto when i had one the auto was leaking and it covered the back window with oil took a bit of head scratchng before it was solved

Oil leaks on a T3....I'd be checking one of the oil pressure senders for the source. Degrease and have a very close look to see exactly where its coming from.

Thanks for the help fella's.degreasing today then sorting problem from there.One more query though, how difficult and costly to replace rear brakes with discs? Cheers.
