If you're talking CAMS events the only real option is Sports Sedan 1601-2000cc if it's NA, Sports Sedan over 3000cc if it's got a hairdryer on it. Some clubs may stretch things and count you as a Sports Car Closed.

AASA tracks such as QR and Lakeside tend to make up their own, often just going with 4 cyl, 4 cyl Turbo and 6 cyl combined, 8 cyl etc.

In a NSW Hillclimb event run under CAMS rules it would come under Sports Sedan classification.
Then as Sides replyed depending on it,s induction 1601- 2000cc, or times by 1.7 for forced induction over 3000cc
The Sports Sedan class is very liberal as you can make quite a few changes to your car in regards to fibreglass and pesplex plus lots of options with motor choice and rims and tyres, ie slicks.
For a thorough explanation visit the CAMS website.

The question you must answer before what classes if what events do you want to enter?

Motorkhana is wheelbase based
Khanacross/Autocross is capacity only
Hillclimb- as dave said above, though do they still run a road registered? - some club events may have different classes
Sprints - similar to hillclimb for cams events, but some clubs, events run different classes.
track days - based on speed, not classes
tarmac rally - depends on if its AASA or CAMS, based more on standard spec with modifications restricted, a EJ power car may be hard to get in
Dirt rally - PRC, GroupN also RRR which is basically meets the safety requiremtns

I have no sympathy for my car, only the wallet that pays for it!
Go hard or go home!!!!
